Home Days Here. Forests and Nature sprout

sprout

It's hard to believe how cold it was yesterday.
The temperature rose sharply today.
It's warm enough to wear just a long-sleeved T-shirt.

I wonder if Tokyo will be even hotter when I return today.
It suddenly crosses my mind.

The Japanese dogtooth violets in the garden are now in full bloom.
I'm happy to see the number increasing little by little.
There is also the yellow dogtooth violet, which is native to North America.
Not yet on your end.

Compared to the Japanese dogtooth violet, the yellow dogtooth violet is different.
There's something resilient about him.
I think the number will continue to increase.

In contrast, the Japanese dogtooth violet,
It is delicate in both appearance and nature.

It takes time for the dogtooth violet to bloom.
It apparently takes 7 to 8 years.

When I hear stories like that,
Garden design is,
I truly realize how much patience is required.

"The garden was transformed overnight"

It's not possible.

You'll need to be patient for at least 12 years."

— Tasha Tudor

I always remember these words from Tasha.
That's right, there's no such thing as a garden that can be built instantly.

In today's world, where people tend to demand immediate results,
It's as if time is flowing differently.

There are some dogtooth violets that only have leaves.
How many years have passed since its creation?
It will probably be a while before the flowers bloom.

I want to wait patiently.

New shoots are popping up one after another in the garden.
I found some curled-up ostrich fern.

I also found two butterbur sprouts, which have become quite rare.
Without picking the butterbur sprouts,
I hope the number increases even more.

The wild garlic in the planter,
It's getting noisy.
I think I'll plant this in the ground this year.
I'd be happy if the number increased.

I'm looking forward to this season.
It's the season for delicious wild vegetables.
In our garden,
There are lots of delicious things.

I am grateful for being able to enjoy the blessings of nature.

To think I can pick them in my own garden...
What a luxury and happiness this is.

It is one of the joys of spring.

In the afternoon, I headed to Tokyo.
As expected, it's hot, reminiscent of early summer.
The cherry blossoms are still beautiful.
