What wonderful weather!
Blue sky without a cloud.

It was cold in the morning,
Not so cold during the day.
but only 1℃

A pleasant walk with Mocha🐶,
The sparkling river surface is also beautiful.

After the winter solstice,
I think the days will gradually get longer from now on.
Spring is still a long way off, though,
Slowly and surely we are moving towards spring.

Sunlight is gentle.

The gradient at dusk is also beautifully...

I made 'cream of octopus and potato soup' for dinner.

My husband and I both like octopus in our family!
Octopus rather than squid!

I was looking for an octopus soup-like recipe,
I arrived at Kurihara's recipe.

Octopus and potatoes are an excellent combination.
Or octopus and potatoes stir-fried with garlic,
Best tasting and goes well with white wine.

Kurihara's recipe was a shock.
Mash the potatoes and then fry them!

I do not use consommé,
Add carrots, turnips and broccoli (stems),
Made with only the flavour of vegetables and octopus.

This is more like potato potage soup,
Potato stew, or rather...
I think I might prefer it to a regular cream stew.

I'd use fresh cream, but perhaps milk would work too,
Even without dairy products, I am sure it will be delicious.

I'm looking forward to arranging it and making it again...
