Interim days during the spring Doyo period

Today is a day between the spring Doyo period (a transitional period in the Japanese calendar).

I bought it on Thursday.
Plant calendula.

I've planted marigolds several times before,
I've never been very good at raising children.
I'm not entirely sure what the cause is.

I usually plant them in the ground,
This year I tried planting them in a raised bed.
And two potted plants.

Is it the location or the soil that's causing them to not grow well...?
Or is there something else causing it?

Raised beds and potted plants are
I'm using regular potting soil from a home improvement store.
Let's decide on a location for the potted plants while observing how they do.

I want to listen carefully to what they have to say.

Then, while walking Mocha with my husband,
I received a hydrangea seedling from a lady in my neighborhood.

Madam's garden is
Many wild plants that grow naturally in this area are planted here.
Many species are endemic to Japan.
The ball hydrangea is one example.

Last early summer, those hydrangea bushes were magnificent.
"It's beautiful," "It's beautiful,"
If we talked every time we met in the garden,
"I'll repot it for you next time," she said.
Thank you for helping us survive the winter.
It was just the time when new shoots were emerging.
I gratefully and appreciatively accepted it.

Madame gives away the plants from her garden to someone.
She said, "I want to increase the number of species native to Japan and wild plants."

If you go to a home improvement store
Many flower seedlings are being sold,
It is difficult to obtain wild plants and other natural plants.

The dogtooth violets and snowdrop aconites in my garden are like that too,
Those wild plants don't multiply easily.
Sometimes the soil is suitable, sometimes it's not.
Its growth is delicate.
Sometimes they just disappear without a trace.

Like Madame, listening to the language of plants,
I am impressed by the way you spare no time or effort in raising them.
The image of Tasha Tudor comes to mind.

I went back inside, grabbed a shovel, and started planting right away.
I had decided on the planting location a long time ago.

Today was a good day, as it was a day with some in between.
